Third Party Act
The insured will be indemnified in the event of an accident caused by or arising out of the use of the
motor vehicle on a Public Road against all sums including claimant’s costs and expenses which the insured shall become legally
liable to pay in respect of:-
- Death of or bodily injury to any person
- Damage to property Limits of Liability
The Limits of Liability under the Third Party Motor Vehicle Risk Act 1980 are as follows:-
- Liability for death or bodily injury up to - $ 50,000.00 (any one claim by any one person)
- Liability for death or bodily injury up to - $ 200,000.00 (total claim arising from any one accident)
- Liability for damage to any property up to - $ 20,000.00 (arising from any one accident)
Without prejudice to any claim or action, irrespective of whether the insured is negligent or not,
your policy of insurance will also pay benefits to the injured Third Party.
No Fault Benefits include:-
- Medical Expenses up to $ 5,000.00.
- Burial & Funeral Expenses up to $ 400.00.
Third Party Standard
In accordance to Section 1 (1) of the Corporation’s Motor Vehicle ‘Act’ insurance policy,
the Corporation will indemnify the insured in the event of accident caused by or arising out of the use of the motor
vehicle on a public road to include private property which is accessible to the public.

- Windscreen Breakage (Accidental)
- $20,000 Accidental Death Benefit
- $5,000 Medical Expense
- $250 Ambulance Service
This coverage applies to vehicles under seven(7) years old and with a minimum value of $12,000.00.
Comprehensive
Policy benefits include:
- Legislated Third Party Liabilities Accidental Collision & Upsets Fire Theft
- Windscreen Breakage (Accidental – no deductible applies)
- Towing expenses up to $1,000.00
- Accidental Death Benefit $20,000.00 (Optional)
- Hurricane Coverage (Optional)
This coverage applies to vehicles under five(5) years old and with a minimum value of $12,000.00.
Deductible is 2% of the Sum Insured on Accidental Collision & Upsets.
